  1. Donna,

Wow! This is a great looking blog, and all these article titles are so attractive. Dang, I’m going to have to bookmark this and come back. Compliments to you Donna.

As far as not giving up, I can relate. Although I’ve never joined a network marketing company up until September and I never heard of old school network marketing. All that stuff with making names lists and cold calling and the three foot rule, I didn’t know about any of that.

But I didn’t know anything about internet network marketing either. I just knew that I wanted to make money on the internet, but I didn’t really know how.

As a public school teacher, the first thing I sought out was an education. It amazes me how many people get into these opportunities and these systems without a clue as how to actually market online. So that’s what I found, and that was what I needed to have the confidence to join a network marketing opportunity confidently.

So I’m with you Donna, seeking an education, a “Marketing School” is a tremendous idea.

  2. Donna, I was just going to post a topic on Better Networker about something similar to this blog. I was thinking about so many more people out there who totally rely on their upline and who embrace the success that their upline has achieved as if it is their own. I find it incredible that instead of making their own footprints, they try and follow in someone elses. I know, because that used to be me. But I’ve found that finding my own voice with the help of Renegade, I’ve achieved levels of success that I only hoped for. Thanks for putting this down for all to see.

  3. Very nice post Donna;

I specially Liked your video, a lot of food for thought there.

We all have to find out sooner or later that we each have to carve out our own pathway and leave our own brand new footsteps for others to follow. We cannot do it all alone, that’s what networking is all about.

  4. Hello Donna,
Another amazing article! Great job! I love the inspirational video. I have been told the difference between me and the rest- I don’t give up. That is the most important thing next to education.
Thanks for being a great mentor.

  5. Hi Donna,
I agree with Eric. Your blog looks great. I totally relate to what you said. I am a stubborn mule (or should I say persistent) and kept on doing things my upline told me even though I knew it didn’t feel right. Then I stopped all activity and went on a search for answers outside my company.

My first finding was Ann Sieg, then that coupled with The 90 Day Marketer, really opened my eyes to new ways of earning multiple streams of income.

It’s been an amazing journey and I’ve connected with some truly fantastic people. You truly don’t have to do this alone. There are many people willing to help. It’s just a matter of looking around and connecting.
    Best wishes,
    Cindy

By the way – been there done that – old school is just that – old school and it amazes me that so many uplines are still teaching that (makes me cringe when I hear them say make a list)

  15. I completely agree with your advice Donna. Going solo is not the way to go online. Finding a live person to talk to can be a challenge. Anyone finding your blog should be grateful.

I didn’t realize how broken the old school vehicle was. The carrot was so attractive that I did what I was told; after all these were successful people.

They taught what they new and what worked for them however the internet has changed what works and has made marketing very low cost; the playing field has been levelled. It’s time to venture outside the box!

  16. Irene,

Your absolutely right, we have to think outside the box and never go at it alone. Thank you for your comment, Irene…
