A mother who just lost her job...

Are you a parent who has lost their job due to the economy? Are you stressed because you don’t know which way to go? If so, I can relate to your situation in every sense. I’m a mother who has been faced with that same situation. I can only imagine what your going through…. But, I’m here to tell you its not the end.

Truly its not the end.

You know why I say that, because I came to realize I have endless possibilities. Possibilities, I never imagined. Honestly, its truly remarkable to know the peeks that exist for me and anyone else. Basically, its in accordance to your next steps.

So in my opinion, I encourage you to look within yourself and think about your possibilities. When I say possibilities, I literally mean, “What ideas have been longing to explore?” Have your ideas ever taken you on an imagination you’ve never thought could exist. I mean the idea of having your empire, creating your own income and having your possibilities to be endless…..

If so, again I can relate. Because you know I pondered this same Idea when I was faced with my situation. I know my situation, may be different than yours, but in the end, I feel we’re faced with the same tragedy, “A JOB LOST“.

You know, I had to figure out, if I was going to sit around and be depressed or if I was going to take action upon my situation…

And guess what?

I got the courage to step in a whole new direction. I decide to put my ideas into ACTION.

I decide to go after my dreams and began my own legacy…..

Grief stricken worker

Have you been grief stricken by a job layoff or a job downsize …. And now your looking at other means to fill that void. But your not sure which way to turn.

If so, I can truly relate because I found myself in the same situation. One day I went to work and before the day was over, I found out my services were no longer needed. I was told I needed to leave the company premises  ASAP. So I began gathering my belonging and packing my stuff into my vehicle. And then I left the premise not knowing what the next day will bring….

The next morning, I got up and went to the Georgia Unemployment Office. Once  I was inside, I saw a mass amount of people standing in line waiting… They were all waiting to apply for unemployment., along with myself….

We were all broken into small groups where we were given the necessary steps needed receive an Unemployment Check.

Do you here me “AN UNEMPLOYMENT CHECK?”

A check that was barely enough to buy Groceries or pay Utilities.

Once knowing that, I knew my life had to change. I couldn’t do all the things I used to do like, eating out or even buying things…..

So, now let me ask you the reader “Do you have to downsize your life?” because of ……

If so, what are you going to do, until you get back on the right side of the track.

Me, Myself, I continued on my journey looking for employment,  only to find days and even months passed by and nothing happen. It was like life was standing still.. It seem like all my walls were crumbling. I just couldn’t get a break… However, I continued to strive forward because of my determination and most importantly my FAITH,  I knew things were going to get better. I just didn’t know when. All I had to do was live within my means, until…

Guess what? my Until can to light. I figured out my game plan….

One of the first things I recognized,  my college degree nor my professional experience wasn’t going to work anymore because of the change in Corporate America, “You are not guaranteed a job for a lifetime, anymore”.

After discovery that, I knew that  I wasn’t going to run around in circles anymore trying to be employed by someone else.  I decide I was going to build my own empire….., so I wouldn’t be  SO dependent or  SO grief stricken when things weren’t going right.

So, I began reading books and learning all I could about various aspects of  home base businesses.

Now, what about you? “Where do you Stand?”

An Empty Wallet

O. K.. Let me ask you, “Do you have No Job, No Money due to circumstances. And you can’t find a job, anywhere?” I mean are you truly struggling to find a job. If so, I can honestly relate. Let me tell you, I used to be on that same journey…. I looked for work for months and found nothing. It seemed like every corner that I turned, was a brick wall. A brick wall that seamlessly led nowhere.

You know I even  thought by having a college degree  would have some type of leverage, but that wasn’t the case at all. Because the job market was so bombard with unemployed people seeking employment.

I just continued searching and searching with my ears and eyes open. And at the same time leaving my options open….

And guess what?

I found something, or better yet, something found me…

I came across a colleague that I hadn’t seen in years. You know we did some catching up over time. Than some time later, he ask me, “Had I ever considered working from home?”

Let me be frankly honest with you, just as I told him, I never considered working from home because of the stigma….

But now, I’m glad I left my options open because I’ve truly been blessed. Let me tell you, doors have been  open I never considered.. Actually, I thought of this option as a young girl long ago, but what did I know as a young girl…

Anyway, I never gave it a second thought, until now. It was almost like it was a blessing…. But I’ll never know.

All I know, I left my options open….

Now, I’m not that same individual who has No Job No Money because of circumstances….

So, let me ask you, will you let circumstances prohibit you from….. or will you learn more  from the Donna Wells.
