Corporate Downsizing: Are You Affected?

You know as I sit here thinking about “Corporate Downsizing,” it made me reminiscence about the early 90’s when my father was in Corporate America. If I can recall correctly, my father worked for a company for many years. I mean many years. Honestly, there wasn’t a time I don’t remember him not being there. I just remember him working his heart out…..

A perished plant in an office where no one is around to nurture it...

And then Guess what?

One evening I noticed my father didn’t leave, when it was time for his shift. I thought may be he changed his shift with someone because
that was the norm sometimes…. But, I notice days and even months passed and he was still amongst us(around the house).
Out of curiosity, I asked my father, “What’s going on with work?” and the response I received was “Oh Nothing, nothing to worry. But, I still I tried to figure out what was going on. The more and more I thought, I thought well maybe he was on a long vacation. But that wasn’t the case…. I found much later life there was “Corporate Downsize.”

Do you here me a “Corporate Downsize?” the same thing that’s going on TODAY. But, with a small twist.

As you know today, downsizing now has a much larger twist because so many families are being turned upside down.

However, I can’t say same thing happen to my family when I was a child. I never notice a change at all. I guess, my father kept it well hidden or better yet, he was well prepared for that moment. Honestly, I don’t know…

But, I do know with massive downsizing in Corporate America today, this can’t be hidden by any parent. Because too many families are being affected by this brazen move by Corporate America.

A move no one was prepared for…..

Honestly, I believe this is a true tragedy because there are so many families loosing everything. They’re loosing their homes, cars and whatever they possessed. They are loosing it all. Literally everything….

And all the government can do is ask for another hand out for themselves…..A $5000 raise.

“Do you here me a raise?” “Raise!” When there are so many families struggling, right now.

I just don’t get it….

Now, let me ask you the reader , “Are you AFFECTED by this brazen move by Corporate America?”

If so, “What are you going to do?” and “What action are you taking, so this doesn’t happen again?”

I only ask because I’m concern. As a mother, I have been there and done that…..and
I’ve learned one must never get complacent in whatever they do, because you never know what’s going to happen. I’ve learned one should always always have a backup plan. I mean a true plan …..A plan one can follow.

My only suggestion is look within yourself and figure out what’s your passion or better yet, your desire in life. “Is it to be an Employee who takes orders and have a limited resources(income) or is it to be an Entrepreneur who dictates their own moves with unlimited resources(Income)

Caught In The Mist Of Corporate Meltdown

O.K . Now that your included in the mist of the corporate meltdown. Let me ask you,  “What Will Be Your Secret To Success.” I know you may have to sit down and contemplate that subject for while, because you probably  haven’t given it much thought and I can completely understand that.

“You have just lost all means your of stability” and the term “SUCCESS“ is likely the last thing that’s on your mind.

Please, believe me when I say this, “I do understand.”

Let me tell you, I’ve been in that same situation. I lost my means of stability through a Corporate meltdown, consequently I didn’t know which turn.

Honestly, I was completely lost for a while.

But, you know what? That doesn’t have to be YOU. All you have to do is put some of the energy of your inner being such as your “THOUGHTS”, your “DREAMS”,  and your “IMAGINATION” into action.

And guess what?

You can have Your Secret To Success.

The Forming Of New Ideas

Did you know that’s how some of the greatest people such as Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Bell, and The Wright Bothers got started. They actually put their thoughts, their dreams,  and their imagination into action. And now we have Electricity, Telephone and even Airplanes. All because they got up and looked beyond.

Do you hear me? “They LOOKED BEYOND”

So, again let me ask you,  “What’s Will Be Your Secret To Success?”

And the only reason I asked is because I’m concerned… Concern as a mother is to her child.

I know you may say, ‘well how can she be so concern for me, if she doesn’t me.’

Well, I have answer for that… just as I said before, I’ve been there and done that. So, I know what your going through. I know your hard ache and  I know your pain.

I just want to give you that lending hand. And let you know its more out there than what you see. At the same time, let you know its not the end of the world, although you may not feel like that, right now.

But believe me when I say this, there are other means of “Stability”.

Means you never knew existed…And I can truly attest to that…

Let me tell you, before knowing what I know now, I was truly in the dark. I wasn’t able to see whats available to me, until someone cared enough to give me direction. They literally held my hand and showed me

Helping Hand

how to build my own empire without depending on the false predictions of Corporate America. They gave me something tangible. Something I could see, feel, and touch.

And  you know what?

It was my inner being which were my “THOUGHTS”, my “DREAMS”,  and my “IMAGINATION”.
